I arrived for my Classic Colour Analysis appointment and was seated at an impressive desk with a mirror, situated within a large tented dressing room. Lisa explained that she wouldn’t be talking during the first part of the session whilst she established which colours we would work with and so we began. I’m not comfortable with staring at myself in the mirror, like lots of women, I notice the faults in my face rather than my assets but it was necessary for this exercise, what’s more no make up is allowed and your hair is taken off your face into a hair net.
The process was quite comforting, you are sitting with your eyes closed for the most part, just opening them for a couple of seconds each time a swatch of cloth is placed across your shoulders. During these brief interludes, you get a glimpse of your face from the chin upwards but not what colour cloth has been placed underneath.
