A new dialysis centre opened in Lanzarote late last year, which is good news for residents requiring regular treatment.
The Centro de Díálisis de Lanzarote is situated on Calle Puerto Rico in Arrecife, this is in the centre of the capital, near the football ground, bus station and shopping centre C.C. Arrecife.
Previously patients were treated in the outpatients hemodialysis section of the Hospital Dr. José Molina Orosa. The new centre can help a total of 72 people every 48 hours, they treat 20 people in the morning and 16-17 patients in the afternoon.
