At Multicines Atlántida in Arrecife remains unchanged at 19:50h "Irrational Man".
Abe Lucas (Joaquin Phoenix) is a philosophy professor on a small town college campus who is going through an existential crisis marked by impotence and alcoholism. He gives his life a new purpose when he starts a relationship with his student Jill Pollard (Emma Stone) while trying to rationalise homicide.
Also starring Parker Posey as Rita Richards, an unhappy faculty wife, and Jamie Blackley Jill´s boyfriend Roy.
Written and directed by Woody Allen, this dark but funny comedy has got, generally, quite good reviews.
