There’s another planned closure of the main Arrecife ring road known as the Circunvalación on Thursday 9th May, this time it affects the junction with the dual carriageway in Tahíche.
The underpass from Tahíche into Arrecife will be closed, due to the construction of the new bridge for the extension of the Circunvalación. Traffic will be cut from 06:00 to 21:00 to allow work on one of the new concrete structures.
Traffic leaving Arrecife for the direction of Tahíche will be redirected along the Circunvalación towards the Puerto de Los Mármoles where vehicles will be able to loop back around to the junction with the LZ-1 as an exit slipway will remain open.
Traffic proceeding into Arrecife from Tahíche will be directed onto the Circunvalación until the next junction along with San Bartolomé (LZ-20) where they can exit to access the capital.
The Ministry of Public Works & Transport of the Canarian Government apologize for any inconvenience that this might cause and ask for drivers to respect the signals and direction given by the authorities, as well as planning their journeys accordingly.
