Companies have 15 days in which to submit a bid for the contract to run the sunbed facility on the beaches in the resort of Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote.
The information was published in the Boletín Oficial for the province of Las Palmas on Friday 10th May and it’s expected that the sunbeds will be operational from late June.
The tender is open to all companies, the minimum bid is €634,804.63 per year for the duration of the contract, companies submitting a higher financial offer with a better quality design of sunbeds and umbrellas will receive more points according to the specifications.
The services must be available on the beaches from 10:00 – 19:00 in the peak summer months of July to September and 10:00 – 18:00 from October to June,
The fee payments due from the successful contractor are 50% within two months of the contract authorisation and the balance of 50% within six months.
Equipment supplied must meet the specifications noted in the project “Ordenación de playas en Puerto del Carmen en el litoral de Tías para el servicio de Temporada 2013-2014” which has been approved by Costas.
