Eatalian is a new Italian wine bar that has opened in La Villa de Teguise, the old capital of Lanzarote.
Paola & Gas are from Milan, they used to lead a very busy and stressful life in Italy and were lured to Lanzarote after hearing so much about the fabulous way of life in the Canaries. The name Eatalian was Paola’s suggestion explains Gas, she’s the brains behind the business he says with a smile, and I’m the muscle! The couple wanted to open something a little bit different as there are already many Italian restaurants on the island.
Eatalian is essentially a wine bar first, serving a selection of Italian tapas and with typical products from Italy for sale. There’s a cosy atmosphere inside, the eclectic mix of Canarian architecture, modern display furniture and wine barrel tables work in harmony, not to mention the cute window seat.
