This year there will be a fun fancy dress Carnival Running event as well as the Gran Coso de Carnaval parade in the holiday resort of Costa Teguise on Saturday 15th March. Holiday makers are very welcome to dress up and join in the carnival spirit, Olympian Gods won the vote as this year's theme. Visitors to the Sunday market in Teguise will be able to enjoy a smaller Pasacalle procession through the main streets of the old capital the following day. The Teguise carnival will move to La Graciosa from the 28th to 30th of March.

18:00 Gran coso de carnaval with an Olympic Gods theme. The parade will leave from the area by Sands Beach Hotel along the Avenida Islas Canarias until the juntion with Avenida El Jablillo by Pueblo Marinero. Followed by entertainment from Salsa Verde, Rika Banda & Swing del Mambo

Carnival day in La Villa de Teguise
12:00 Pasacalle de carnival with a procession through the main streets of the market and old capital of Teguise including entertainment in the municipal tent. Followed by a Zumba Fitness demonstration on Plaza de La Mareta.
14:00 Verbena with the group Los Conejeros in the Plaza de La Mareta
