This weekend the carnival party heads north to the pueblo of Haría, you might be forgiven for thinking it will be a quiet party in this rural town, but you’d be wrong!
Special parking zones have been established on land in the streets Sobre las Eras & La Cañada for people travelling to Haría on Saturday to enjoy the carnival. Vehicles coming into Haría by the LZ10 from Los Valles / Teguise or LZ207 from Tabayesco should park on Sobre las Eras which is within a few minutes walk of the carnival. Traffic coming up from the LZ201 from Arrieta should note that access to the town is closed at the roundabout with a diversion in place through Máguez to parking in La Cañada.
This year’s poster was designed by Alex Dorta and entitled “Haría rumbo al carnaval”.
