The Festival Internacional de Cine de Lanzarote (FICL) commenced today and will continue until the 5th April 2014.
The FICL includes 13 feature films and 95 short films which will be screened at the Teatro Insular in Arrecife. FICL2014 is organised by the Education and Cultural department of the Cabildo with Fisme Productions in collaboration with the Ayuntamiento fo Arrecife as well as support from local businesses such as Binter, Arrecife Gran Hotel, Bodegas El Grifo, Cicar & Casa Africa amongst others.
The National films will be shown as the above programme from Monday 24th of March to Friday 28th of March at 20:30, plus two films on Saturday 29th of March at 20:30 & 23:00. Tickets cost €3.
The Short Film Competition starts on Monday 31st March, there are four sessions a day at 17:00, 18:30, 20:00 & 21:30 where 10 documentaries, 30 animated films, 25 national fiction & 25 international films will be screened to battle for the first prize in each category. Tickets cost €2.
