The Semana de la Música starts today with 5 days of concerts from the students of the Escuela Insular y el Conservatorio.
The annual event, now in it’s thirteenth edition allows the students and teachers to showcase their musical abilities with a wide range of concerts over the five day festival.
Most of the concerts take place at the Teatro Insular in Arrecife, but also at the Conservatorio and Sala Indieras in Tías. The opening and closing ceremonies will be held in the open air at La Plazuela and the Parque José Ramírez Cerdá in the capital of Lanzarote.
The concerts are free to attend but limited in places, tickets can be collected from the box office at the theatre from one hour before the start, tickets are restricted to a maximum of two per person.
