The poster has been published for the carnival celebrations in La Villa de Teguise & Costa Teguise which will be held from the 1st March.
Begoña Izarra Fernández was the winner of this year’s poster competition, her design is entitled “Un carnaval de película” which translates to “A carnival of film”, depicting this year’s theme of Hollywood, which was voted for by the local community.
Inscription has opened for floats and groups who would like to participate in the carnival procession in Costa Teguise on Saturday 2nd March.

We are currently waiting for the full carnival programme to be confirmed. We do know that there will be another fancy dress competition for your pets on the 24th February at 12:00 in the municipal tent in La Villa de Teguise. If you’d like to enter your mascot, the application can be downloaded as an attachment below. Vouchers for pet products will be presented to the first three winners of €100, €75 & €50 respectively, the closing date for entries is the 22nd.

La Graciosa will be holding their carnival two weeks after Costa Teguise & Teguise.
