Lanzarote was chosen by the prestigious cashmere company Eric Bompard as the location for their Spring Summer 2013 catalogue photo shoot.
The shoot was held on the island from the 19th to 26th November 2012 featuring locations such as the Cactus Gardens, Fire Mountains and El Golfo. Lanzaroteño producer Ismael Curbelo led a team of 20 professionals including technicians and models wearing garments from the new Bompard range to some of the most beautiful places in Lanzarote.
The Eric Bompard brand was launched in the 80’s after he discovered the properties of cashmere from the long soft hair of the goats found in the Gobi Desert. The brand now offers over 400 shades of cashmere and a variety of designs with 33 stores in France and 12 worldwide.
This photo shoot was held in collaboration with the Centres of Art, Culture & Tourism and forms part of the tourism promotional strategy for Lanzarote through the Lanzarote Film Commission.
