Shops in San Bartolomé will extend their opening hours on Saturday 15th December, in a special event to boost shopping in the area.
The San Bartolomé Shopping evening doesn’t only include the shops in the local vicinity, an invitation has been extended out to other local businesses to set up stalls in the street. Shoppers will be able to enjoy special discounts and promotions in the location of Avenida Alcalde Antonio Cabrera Barrera.
Anyone making purchases will be entered into a raffle with a basket of goodies and vouchers to be won.
The opening hours are from 17:00 to 23:00, during which there will be a special space for children with games and inflatables. Designers from Lanzarote will hold an exhibition in the entrance to Ajei with mannequins wearing their latest designs. A pasacalle (street procession) with children’s characters will open the event. Various entertainment will be held through the evening including ballet, folklore, children’s show, batucada, circus, storytelling, dance and theatre. The processions will travel around the shops, the performances will be held in Calle Severo Ochoa and the main Avenida.
The councillors for commerce Juan Carlos Rocío and tourism David Rocío invite citizens and visitors to come and discover San Bartolomé for their Christmas shopping, whilst enjoying the late night entertainment.
