The popular Top Catz Dance classes in Lanzarote will be starting again next week after the summer holidays.
Marlene from Top Catz offers classes in tap dance, Irish, Flamenco, funky, jazz and in a new twist…….clogging! Classes will be held in the CEIP Rafael Cedres primary school in Tías, next to the police station and possibly another venue.
Irish classes will use soft and hard shoe.
Tap will include various styles - Broadway, hoofer, clogging, (for those who like Country Line Dance, this is similar).
Flamenco classes and Sevillanas.
Funky dance for kids, and jazz dance for adults.
Unless stated otherwise, the classes are open to dance students of all ages. It costs €20 per month for children and €25 for adults, this is for one class per week. For any students taking a second class each week, the lesson fee is discounted to half price.
As you can see from this year’s photos, the dancers have lots of fun whilst learning new steps and keeping fit. If you love performing, this is the group to join or if you just want to have fun in class, you can do that too!
