The Canary Islands foreign passenger figures fell 5.92% in April 2015, compared the to same month the previous year with a total number of 910,103 foreigners arriving at our airports according to Aena.
The shortfall in tourists during April has left the island 0.69% down on the year to date figures for 2015. The Canaries have been visited by 4,066,677 foreign passengers from January to April 2015, which is 28,449 less than 2014. That said, the news isn’t so disappointing, as the islands still received over 4 million passengers which is the second highest record in our statistical history.
